Applicants will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis, and we’ll welcome applications from families on low incomes or armed forces veterans, but ultimately, there’ll be no preferential treatment given to anyone.
In the Foundation’s infancy, we can only give grants up to £2,000.00, but we aim to remove this funding cap as soon as possible and provide each applicant with enough funding relevant to their situation.
All applications must be submitted by a medical referrer on behalf of their patient.
We welcome referrals from doctors, nurses and other key workers/lead professionals who have an ongoing relationship with the applicant but will need a letter from a medical professional detailing the diagnoses.
The Orange Foundation will support people who have been affected by cancer via our segments of help:
Advocacy Services
Fund or provide patient advocacy services.
Fund Diagnostics
Fund diagnostics, scans or consultations that will help speed up the delivery of plans or treatment itself.
Talking Therapies
Fund or provide the patient and family members with talking therapies.
Cosmetic Treatments
Fund cosmetic treatments and accessories or help fund surgery.
Treatment Funding
Contribute to cancer treatment, which isn’t always readily available on the NHS or to people who don’t have private medical insurance.
